Baseball Salem Post 23 , behind the complete-game win of Jake Lambert , defeated Nashua 3-2. Lambert gave up just two earned runs and struck out four in seven innings for the win. Mike Patane drove in one and scored once for Salem, which improved to 5-1. Also, Josh Treff had three hits for Salem and scored a run and Darren Brown was 2 for 3.

Girls Track The Andover High girls and Haverhill's Samantha Stabile enjoyed a superlative two days at the Nike Outdoor Nationals in Greensboro, N.C., over the weekend. Individually, Stabile finished fourth in the 200 emerging elite division with a 25.33 in the finals after recording a school-record 25.28 in the prelims. Andover's Melissa Knapp finished seventh with a school-record 25.61.
