Palace Station Casino in Las Vegas
Palace Station is a mix between a local’s casino and a tourist casino. It is located just of the I-15 freeway, about 4 miles from the Las Vegas Strip. Depending on traffic, a cab ride to the Palace Station from the Strip could take anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes. The Palace Station is known for good food and great times. Rooms at the Palace Station tend to be less expensive than the big boys in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, so if you don’t mind a short cab ride, check it out.
One of the biggest differences you will find at the Palace Station is the price of the buffet. Long ago buffets in Las Vegas were only a few dollars—of course the quality was lower. Today, it’s common to pay around $20-$30 per person for a dinner buffet. However, at the Palace Station lucky visitors get to turn back the clock a little. The Gourmet Feast, their buffet, is filled would culinary choices from around the world. For example, the Tuscan Trattoria serves up Italian delights. Unlike many Las Vegas Casinos with high dinner buffet prices, visitors will only pay $7.99 for a lovely dinner buffet.
As mentioned earlier, the rooms at the Palace Station are very reasonably priced. The Palace Station has over 1,000 rooms—from simple, but nice, economy rooms to spectacular tower suites that offer amazing views of the Las Vegas Strip. Expect to pay around $99 for a room during the summer at the Palace Station. As always, try to book your room in advance as they do go pretty fast. The Palace Station also makes a good alternative when hotels on the Las Vegas Strip are sold out.
