News Jan 2024: After a March 2020 shutdown due to COVID-19, Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course never reopened its poker room. Now, according to the casino, a six-table poker room will open outside of The Sportsbook in spring 2024 and be available Friday-Sunday.

Penn National Racetrack in Pennsylvania has been running since 1972. On February 12, 2008, the Hollywood Casino opened with slots action and on July 13, 2010, they added table games and poker. Today visitors can enjoy live horse racing, sports betting with Barstool, simulcast racing and wagering, live casino action from 8am to 4am daily, select dining options, and live musical entertainment with top-name performers at the H Lounge.

There are over 60 tables games including Black Jack, Roulette, Craps, Pai-Gow Poker, Three and Four Card Poker, Mini-Baccarat, and Let-It-Ride among others, as well as more than 2,300 reel, video slot and video poker machines. 

Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course can accommodate up to 450 guests in its 6,500 square feet of unique and flexible event space.

Other properties owned by Penn National Gaming, Inc. in Pennsylvania include The Meadows Racetrack & Casino in Washington and Hollywood Casino York, which opened on August 12, 2021 in Springettsbury Township. What will be its fourth casino property in the state, Hollywood Casino Morgantown is scheduled for opening later in 2021.

Mountainview Dining & Terrace Lounge

The Mane Event Express at Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course is your go-to place for a quick bite, cold beverage, or just to take a load off when you are viewing and placing wagers on the full line up of simulcast races at Penn National. It's located right next to the simulcast theater and always handy.

Home Stretch Pub & Deli

If you want a great view of the mile long Penn National thoroughbred race track you won't find a better place to see it all than the Home Stretch Pub & Deli, which is located on Hollywood's racing concourse (Level F) that overlooks its mile thoroughbred race track. The deli is open on live race nights only from 5pm through the last race. Enjoy a quick bite and an ice cold beverage while experiencing the excitement of live racing or full card simulcasting on several HD flatscreen TV's. The Deli & Pub are closed on Sundays.

Final Cut Steakhouse

Paddock Cafe

• Serving: Cafe/Variety

Paddock Cafe is located next to the paddock area on the outside of the racing apron and offers fast fare with an up close and personal view of the live racing action. Whether you want finger foods, hot dogs, a sandwich, burger, fries, or more you don't have to miss a moment of the action. Open from 5:00pm until the last race on race nights only.

Tattered Flag at Hollywood Casino

Located on Level D of the casino in the old Skybox Sports Bar, the nearly 9,000 sq ft, 200 seat Tattered Flag restaurant and kitchen overlook the casino and has its own entrance. Serving upscale pub food, serving appetizer, soup and salad, signature burgers and sandwiches, artisan tacos, House Smoked BBQ and more. The restaurant also offers a full lineup of the brand's beer and liquor.

 

The Eatery by Fabio Viviano

The Eatery by Fabio Viviani is a modern food hall and drafthouse featuring four experiences, including Mercato, The Classic, Penn Draft and Joe & Dough, serving everything from tasty Italian cuisine and gourmet burgers to sweet and savory desserts and excellent craft and draft beer. One of the four restaurants is Mercato, which offers a selection of gourmet pizza and other Italian sandwiches.
