Rampart Casino
The Rampart Casino has been called one of the most intimate local’s casinos in Las Vegas. It really has more of a resort feel than a casino. If you are looking for a smaller casino with a relaxing atmosphere to stay in, the Rampart Casino is just the ticket. It is located in beautiful Summerlin, which is a master planned community in Las Vegas—the best place to live in all of Las Vegas.
The Rampart Casino is a great location. First, you have the Sun Coast Casino right across the street, which provides even more gaming, eating and entertainment options. Second, you have a few golf courses right there as well. The Angel Park golf course is a public course, but not in the poorly maintain sort of way. It is a top-notch course in the valley. There is also a PGA course right up the road. Located conveniently by the Rampart Casino are shopping, restaurants and grocery stores. It’s a prime location.
If you want to go to the Strip or downtown, it’s a snap. The Rampart Casino is just a couple blocks from Summerlin Parkway, which connects to I-95. Tourists can be to the downtown area in about 10 minutes and the Strip in about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. The new Red Rock casino is about 5 minutes away as well, so there are many possibilities for guests. The Rampart Casino has a Mediterranean feel and contains a four-star Marriot hotel.
For eating options, the Rampart Casino has a great buffet, coffee shop and other specialty restaurants. If you are staying in Vegas around St. Patrick’s Day, the Rampart Casino has a St. Patrick’s Day party at their Irish pub on March 17th. At the Rampart Casino, a sea of people definitely won’t overwhelm you.
