The Stratosphere Tower
The Stratosphere Tower stands at 1,149 feet tall, which makes it the tallest freestanding observation tower in the United States. The Tower features observations decks, a lounge, a great restaurant and meeting spaces. Getting to the top of the Stratosphere takes under 30 seconds. The elevators move at a rate of 1,800 feet per minute—that’s three floors per second. Every night a spectacular lighting show takes place and it’s visible from anywhere in Las Vegas. It costs $9.95 for adults to go to the top of the Stratosphere.
Top of the World at the Stratosphere
The Top of the World is a favorite spot to eat at the Stratosphere. This award-winning restaurant is located around 800 feet above Las Vegas. The restaurant actually moves while you are eating, which gives you an outstanding panoramic view of Las Vegas. It takes the Top of the World one hour and twenty minutes for a full revolution. It’s recommended that you go eat there at nighttime. The view is something you will take home with you and remember for years to come.

Location. The Stratosphere Tower Hotel in Las Vegas, Nev., is poised 113 stories above Las Vegas Boulevard at the north end of The Las Vegas Strip, within two miles of downtown Las Vegas. Home of the world's three highest thrill rides, this property is five miles from McCarran International Airport.
Hotel Features. The world's highest tower, at 1,149 square feet, was built on earthquake springs in 1996. The revolving Top of the World Restaurant towers 1,000 feet and features live jazz and a romance lounge with a fiber optic bar. Polly Esther's, a 26,000 square foot nightclub, offers live shows and DJ music. The 103rd floor showcases a wedding chapel. Pampering treatments at the Roni Josef Salon Spa include the Desert Stone Massage and Aveda Tourmaline Radiance Facial. A 67,000 square foot recreation area features a heated pool, a spa tub and a fitness center available on the eighth floor. The exclusive Beach Club 25, located on the 25th floor, provides a secluded, adults only topless pool area. The hotel hosts the American Superstars and Bite shows nightly.
Guestrooms. The 2,444 guestrooms feature light wood furnishings and entertainment armoires with satellite television and wireless Internet access for a fee. Bathrooms contain ample counter space and complimentary toiletries. Select rooms feature marble entrances, wet bars, desks and floor to ceiling windows with views of The Las Vegas Strip, downtown or mountains.
