Vernon Downs Casino Hotel, Racing & Entertainment is located at 4229 Stuhlman Road in Vernon, New York. The casino has a 34,500 square-foot gaming space with over 500 gaming machines, including house progressives and video poker, taking virtual coins valued from a penny to $5. The casino was added to the race track in the early 2000s. The Vernon Downs Racetrack features live harness racing (think "chariots" if you are not familiar with harness racing) April - November and year-round simulcast betting.  The race track was established on July 1, 1953.

Vernon Downs recently added a hotel with 173 guestrooms. Additional amenities at the property include small meeting rooms in the new Vernon Downs Event Center, an arcade/game room, an indoor heated pool and whirlpool and fitness facilities.

There are plenty of good eats, live entertainment and cold drinks too!

The Kitchen Buffet is open five days a week at Vernon Downs and offers a great selection of yummy fare for lunch and dinner. Ribs are a big hit here and so are the themed menu nights (see menu above).
