Ontario-based Great Canadian Entertainment's new CAD1 billion ($758.5 million)  entertainment venue is located in north Etobicoke, adjacent to Woodbine Racetrack, near the intersection of Hwys. 401 and 427 in Toronto, Canada. Situated on 33 acres, Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto is the reimagining of Casino Woodbine and is the largest casino resort in Canada and one of the largest in North America. The 11-story, pet-friendly 400-room hotel began accepting reservations on August 1st, 2023, and guests can choose from Premium King, Premium Two Queen, Racetrack King and Racetrack Two Queen rooms, each of which is spacious and well-appointed. Parking at the Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto is FREE, it’s multi-level indoor parking with well-lit parking spaces. Eco-conscious guests should be pleased with the 250,000 square feet of green roof and electric vehicle parking. 

The list of amenities here is long, with multiple dining options, including an upscale steakhouse and grab-and-go options at the Food Hall, along with a spacious fitness and wellness center, a state-of-the-art live entertainment 5,000-person theatre, various retail outlets, a roof-top swimming pool, business center. 

Guests are greeted by 328,000 square feet of gaming space featuring a wide array of options, including over 4,800 slot machines with a range of denominations, 145-plus live table games, and electronic table games, high-limit slots and tables, Stadium Gaming, VIP rooms, a 30-table poker room, a racetrack and sports betting. 

Woodbine Racetrack, in existence since 1956, is adjacent to Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto, and shares the same address. The one-mile all-weather track manages and hosts Canada's most famous race, the King's Plate. It has the longest home stretch of any turf course in North America and is also the only track in North America that can hold thoroughbred and harness racing at the same time. in addition to Thoroughbred racing and live simulcast betting on remote tracks, the track also offers a range of food and beverage options. 

The property also offers guests free self-parking in a 3,800-space camera-covered, enclosed parking structure year-round. Visitors can access the casino via multiple entrances. Fee-based valet parking is also available 24/7.

The Grandstand Casino, formerly known as Casino Woodbine, is located at Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto and offers direct access to the new Expansion Casino and a new gaming floor.

Located at the Grandstand Casino on Level Two of Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto, the poker room spreads Texas Hold'Em and No Limit Hold'Em daily cash games including multiple tables of 1/3, 2/5 & 5/10 No Limit games; 10/20 and 20/40 Limit games; and 50/100 Limit games are available upon request. All games have a rake of 10% to a $20 max. Located in the east end of the Expansion Casino, The Northern Lights Bar is open daily from 9am to 2am, serving signature hand-crafted cocktails, coolers, brews and ciders, extensive wine, beer and liquor offerings, and à la carte bar bites such as Charcuterie and Sweet & Salty Snack boards, Sushi Platter, Spicy Salmon Poke Bowl and more. Guests also enjoy free Wi-Fi and large-screen TVs here. The Theatre

The Theatre is a stand-alone, state-of-the-art entertainment venue situated next to Woodbine Racetrack and the casino. It offers flex configurations, including 4,061-capacity seated front, 5,000 general admission and two “fight night” options at 3,637 capacity and 3,982 capacity. There are two levels of seats, one on the ground floor and the 2nd level right above the ground seating. The Theatre is intimate enough for every seat in the house to provide great views of the stage. The venue hosts concerts featuring influential artists such as Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and K-Pop sensation Itzy, as well as professional boxing matches and other sporting events and special events. The Theater is located next to Woodbine Racetrack 

Signature Bar

Coming soon. Located on the gaming floor, the Signature Bar serves all your favorite adult beverages and is a perfect place to people-watch.

Champion's Bar
