  THE TITLE IS THE SIMPLEST BUT MOST ACCURATE DESCRIPTION OF THIS HOTEL. WE WERE SURPRISED BY THE ELEGANCE OF THE LOBBY, ROOM AND AMMENITIES INCLUDING A RESTAURANT, A SMALL GYM AND ROOFTOP SWIMMING POOL OVERLOOKING THE BEAUTIFUL CITY OF BARCELONA. THE STAFF IS SUPERB AND ALWAYS READY TO PLEASE YOU. BUT THE BEST PART WAS THE LOCATION. WALKING DISTANCE FROM PLAZA CATALUNA, LAS RAMBLAS AND BARRIO GOTICO. ALSO VERY CLOSE TO THE SAGRADA FAMILIA CATHEDRAL. WHEN I RETURNED TO BARCELONA WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO REPEAT THE GREAT EXPERIENCE THAT HOTEL DIPLOMATIC GAVE US.

  The hotel is walking distance from Paseo De Gracia, la Pedreria de Gaudi, Plaza Catalunya, Ramblas and the exclusive shopping district. Near to subway and traveller services. The service was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay there.
