I went there to go to a conference at the Hilton; I needed a cheap place close by to stay at the first night since my school wasn't paying for that night. I also needed reliable internet. It was clean, safe, had quaint mural painting on the wall, spotless bathrooms, wired (cable) internet (they charge $* for a cable or bring your own). Breakfast was not much, packaged muffins and coffee/tea, but easily available. It met my needs, was convenient, cheap ($*) and the staff was accommodating.

My friend and I just wanted a place to rest our heads for a good price while we experienced San Fran. We didn't need anything fancy, just a clean room, and the Adante was perfect. The staff were frindly, the room was clean and the continental breadfast was decent. Good value for the price.

This hotel had only small details that bothered me, but they were many! The lobby looks nice...it is the only thing that has been recently remodeled. The only elevator in the 7 story building was a death trap, very few of the TV channels came in clearly, the beds were uncomfortable, and the floor was warped in places. The room was so small, had no amenities, and was very tacky. The housekeeping staff kept it very clean though. At the cheapest San Francisco had to offer, it was still overpriced.
