We got a room to be close to down town during a recent snow storm. The hotel is new so everything seemed to be in working order. The rooms are newly decorated and have that comtemporary "ikea" feel to them. We had a nice room over looking the city at night. The staff seemed friendly. (not overly). The hotel has a great location! All we had to do while we stayed was jump on the elevator and we had our choices of places to eat etc. The bad...they dont tell you until you get there that you have to pay * a night to park!! I guess that is probably the going rate w/other big cities. But I thought you would get some sort of break considering they are charging way over * a night w/no other choices for parking. Although the room is newly furnished the bed was not very comfortable. Its one of those platform beds w/no box spring and our mattress seemed lumpy. Not nearly as luxurious as the Westin or other hotels in the area. And while I loved the view of the city, there was a constantly whistling coming from the windows allllllllllllllll the time. The only way to stop it/cover it up...was to turn on the fan on the heating/cooling unit. But even that didnt cover up the noise from the hall way or the neighboring room. We stayed during the week so I cant imagine what the noise level would be like on the weekends. I would stay again of only because of the location, but if you want to feel pampered...stay some where else!!

We thought it would be a good idea to get hotel rooms downtown near where we were celebrating a friend's 40th birthday party. I was thoroughly disappointed as the room smelled of mold and mildew and was not as clean as I would expect for such a new place. By the end of the night-one asthma attack later- we decided to leave and go home. When we told the front desk clerk she seemed uninterested in our plight. Not even a sympathetic I'm sorry...There are so many other hotel choices in the immediate vicinity that I am not sure I would use this hotel again.
