Would not recomend to anyone, Air condition did not work well, first think when you walk in to the room is the awful body oder smell ,the air was hot ,not working well, the curtians would not close they were in need of repair, tried to turn the air on high to see if that would help with the smell but after 40 min, nothing helped, oh yeah don't won't to leave out how noisey it is you can here the kids running up and down the hall way you can here people talking in there rooms , we had to go, checked out and went to Days Inn, in Webster Tx, have stayed there befor would recomend it to any one.

Based on the reviews I read, I had a different expectation for this hotel. I knew it was older & more of an economy hotel, so I wasn't expecting turn down service but I think I had the right to expect the following: clean towels, maid service to bring TP/empty trash. There were rat droppings in our room around the coffee pot & microwave!!! At 9:30 (granted, a Saturday night) there were dozens of screaming people at the pool. I called the front desk to find out if there was anything they could do and was told ""Lady, this is a hotel, they can do whatever they want to."" I promptly called the online travel website & they took care of it so we could check out right away. Insane & disgusting!

We stayed at this hotel because it was cheaper to stay outside of Galveston on Saturday night. The staff was courteous, and the hotel was decently clean. The rooms could use an update, especially the bathtubs (our was cracked). The pool area is gorgeous, and my fiance was impressed with the bar in the lounge. My main ""gripe"" was the needed updates and the breakfast. The food provided was adequate, but there was nothing hot provided - not even make it yourself waffles. Overall, our stay was nice and defintely a cheaper alternative than paying through the nose in Galveston proper.

Very reasonable price if you don't go through an online agent, and 8 minutes from the outside of Galveston. Old but clean, there are good beds, and breakfast included. And VERY easy access from I-45. We'll stay again.

The front desk employee was friendly and helpful. The pool was not really deep enough for my 16 yr. old. The overall hotel experience was wonderful. The breakfast choices adequate for a continental breakfast. The breakfast area was neat and clean. I felt really safe in this hotel.
