The hotel was very nice, the staff friendly and spoke good english, and the location was only about a 10 minute walk to the center of the old town. We had a wonderful time! When we were on our way to our next location of the trip, we realized we forgot our camera at the hotel. The staff found the camera, sent it through DHL to our hotel we were staying in approixmately a four hour train ride away. That really says alot about the hotel and the staff!!!

A fun and funky hotel within a half-block to the tram station and easy walking to the Zwinger. Very nice people, free Wi-FI, reasonable rates for being downtown;, and very clean and comfortable.

This is a chic, artsy hotel. It's a little less expensive than the hotels right downtown, but then you have to walk a half-mile or a bit more to get there; however, this can be turned into an advantage by detouring over to the Elbe and approaching the downtown along the bank, with a rewarding view, especially at night. The artwork everywhere is risque though children might not even realize it. The totality-design concept means you don't get a real comfortable chair to sit in (even at the bar).
