Satisfied yet again

Microtel in Onalaska is not a 5 star hotel. It's more like 2.5 stars but for the $* I spent for the night, I got exactly what I expected so again, I rate it 5 stars in it's category. It has been 7 months since my last stay and nothing changed. The staff was the same courteous people and the rooms and breakfast were adequate and fresh. The wi-fi seemed faster this time around which was a plus. My business in Wisconsin is concluded but I would stay here again if I ever ventured that way in the future.

Stayed at the Microtel instead of the Stoney Creek Inn (after two disappointing stays/less than helpful staff) while in LaCrosse. I was surprisingly happy with the staff, the room, ease of access, location...and the price. Travel to LaCrosse frequently since my daughter attend UWL and this has been by far - no kidding - the best bang for my buck! Didn't miss the hype, the amentities I never use, nor the pool we would sometimes use. The staff was so friendly and accomodating! The room was very nice and more importantly - very clean! Will stay there again and again!

OK for the price
08/29/2006Just needed a quick place to stay overnight, is fine for that. rooms very small, lighting not great, breakfast ok but not much to pick from-toast, bagels, muffins thats ...
Just needed a quick place to stay overnight, is fine for that. Rooms very small, lighting not great, breakfast ok but not much to pick from-toast, bagels, muffins thats all. Check in easy, rooms sort of clean, not great, not filthy.
