Clerk at check-in was rude and sarcastic when I asked to be told the total room charge without taxes, and was quoted a different rate than I had confirmed via Internet. The rest of the staff were friendly. The back security door latch was broken the first day I was there, but was fixed. The room could have been cleaner. Was adequate for sleeping, but seemed dark during the day. On two of the days, my room was made up without fresh towels and/or pillowcases because not enough were available. They were brought around later. It was nice to have a tiny refrigerator in the room.
The breakfast bar had very little selection, with fresh fruit available only two of the days I was there. Also, not enough room for more than a few people so food had to be taken back to the room.
When coming back late at night and alone, the only available parking was at the rear and lighting was not very good. As a woman traveling alone, that made me uncomfortable. The motel is next door to a pawn shop and in front of some industrial shop.
Overall, the place was not terrible for the price, but I did try to change to a different hotel the first day I was there. I was unable to, so I stayed for several days. The worst was the very discourteous check-in clerk, and that unfavorably colored my stay there. I will not got back. -

Room was clean but looked like it had seen better days. The b-fast was truly continental--LOTS of sweet rolls and little in the way of anything nutritous. This is not the case at other BW's I've stayed in. Would not stay here again.
