We had a great experience at the Tuscan Inn. All of the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. We received a free upgrade when the room we requested was not available! The room was beautiful! Definitely staying here again!!!

The hotel is in a great location, only two blocks from Fisherman's Wharf and the cable cars. The room was clean and well kept. We had a refrigerator, but no microwave. It's a great value if you don't have a vehicle, but it costs $* per night to park your car there. The public transportation system in SF is great and there are several buses within walking distance.

This was a terrific place to stay. The room was small, but well appointed. Wine at 5:00 - 6:00, and the staff could not have been more helpful. Definitely a great place to stay!!!! Will stay here again. And the restaurant is terrific!

My husband and I were very dissapointed with this hotel. The staff was not that friendly or helpful. We had several unexpected charges including holds on our visa card and parking costs. This hotel does not provide any parking for their customers, nor will they validate public parking for their customers. So the customers are forced to pay $*/day for valet at the hotel or $*/day for public parking where your car is not safe. Times are hard for everyone right now and any chance we can get on very little money to go on vacation is important to us. Having to pay over $* in unexpected charges is not something anyone can do these days without feeling dissapointed. I will not go back to this hotel and my husband agrees with me!

Felt like I was treated differently because I used Travel agency and got a great discounted rate. Others in my party who paid full price were given their room keys immediately upon registering. I waited 3 1/2 hours for mine. Attitude of front desk staff was "smarmy" at best. Then I was given a room opposite the housekeeping closet where I was woken up each morning by noisy housekeeping staff. No refrigerator in the room. I would not stay here again.
