Lovely hotel. Spotlessly clean. Front Desk staff extremely courteous and professional. Room rate includes Sumptuous buffet breakfast. Very conveniently located between the Bologna and Policlinico Metro Railway stations from where you can get to most of Rome's attractions (Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Vatican City, Trevi Fountain). Tram to the Vatican City/St Peter's Basilica can be taken from Viale Regina Elena which is a short walk from the Hotel.

I have stayed at this hotel twice when visiting Rome, and will probably stay there again the next time I'm able to make it out that way. The hotel has been remodeled since the first time I stayed there in 2005 -- the room I had was small (but not cramped), clean, and attractively decorated. The hotel staff was very personable and helpful, and fluent in English. A full range of cheeses, meats, pastries, coffee and juices were provided free of charge every morning, which was not only a tasty way to start each day of exploring Rome but also helped cut down expenses greatly. My room had a balcony that looked out onto a section of the city that was extremely busy in the morning but very quiet at night. I found it interesting to sit on the balcony and watch the life of the city take place before my eyes, but some people may be looking for a quieter area. The area itself is nice enough -- there are plenty of cafes, restaraunts, bars, and pharmacies around, and best of all the hotel is only about a five minute walk from the Policlinico metro station (which itself is only one or two stops from Termini station). Overall, this was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had & I will recommend booking here to any of my friends or family who may be travelling to Rome.

This hotel may be a good price, but the front desk staff are rude and do not know how to provide good service. No help with luggage, no place for drop off in front of hotel. Renovation constantly with very loud noise of drills, jackhammers, etc. Beds are like sleeping on the floor - so hard. Old building, remodeled without consistency of rooms. I will never stay here again.
