It is so close to the Termini --- made it so easy to get to the airport. No need for their * euro per person limo service :) The terrace area was just beautiful at night --- Wish I had gone up there sooner. The room was very nice and clean. After 10 days of very flat pillows it was nice to get to a bed with a fluffier pillow! We were only there for 2 nights but a longer stay would have been fine by me. Best rates for internet we got (3 euro for 24 hours vs 5 euros an HOUR at another Roma hotel

Just returned from Rome (July2010). This hotel was close to the termini. We walked two blocks with luggage. Don't worry everyone is walking with luggage. The reception personal were polite, helpful, funny. The rooftop bar was a great place to end the day. The bartenders were very attentive. We could walk to many restaurants, shopping areas and attractions. It was close to hop on, hop off bus stops. The breakfast was breads, fruits, cheese, etc., but it was enough to start the day. Relax when in Rome, speak a little Italian greetings and you'll be welcomed. Try to find the small Italian shops. They really appreciate your business. Plan to do a LOT of walking. St, John's basilica is a must see. Better than Vatican. Most big attractions will have a person out front trying to get you to go on a tour with their group and save waiting in line. This is worth the extra money. We did this for Colliseum. Wish we had done it for others. If planning to go to Pompeii, take a tour group. You do not want to go to Naples on your own. Everything they say that is bad is true. Would recommend this hotel and if we go again, we'll book our stay here, but we'll make sure there is a bathtub. It would have been wonderful to soak after a long day instead of a shower:)

My friend and I picked this hotel after reading all the other reviews and am so glad we did. Our room was a comfortable sizeand the water pressure was excellent. Yes, the beds were on the firm side but (like some other reviewer wrote), after all the walking and sight-seeing, it didn't matter! Our favorite part about the hotel, though, is its location. The bus and train stations are literally (maybe) 100 yards away. For 4euro a day, you can buy an all-day bus pass, which saved us cab fare and super long hikes. The bus system in Rome is super easy to learn and made getting around a cinch. (We also hopped the train to Florence and Venice - another easy and fun experience.) They offer a breakfast "buffet," but don't expect an American-style layout of eggs, pancakes, etc. There was always plenty to get us started, though. There are several really good pizza places and other restaurants within walking distance too. The staff was very helpful and polite - absolutely no issues with them at all. They even arranged a car service to and from the airport (well worth the extra money). When I go back to Rome, I won't even bother looking at other hotels.
