This hotel was nice and well located although noisy on crowded weekends. If your room faces Decatur do yourself a favor and walk over to walgreens and get earplugs you'll get more sleep. The staff seemed friendly. The continental breakfast was great for coffee but my daughter saw bugs on the food so we went out for breakfast. The rooms are a bit small but it was adequate for my family of four. We brought a blow up bed for one child and saved * dollars on roll away bed. The double beds were to small for two teenagers to sleep comfortably together. Over all we spent very little time in the hotel so it was fine for our needs.

It started out horribly with an interior room, with an out of order phone (there were two though - the other worked.) We were scheduled for 5 nights, so after the first night my husband asked if they could move us, and the front desk person was horribly rude. After the second night I asked the front desk person (XYZ!) who was our angel & moved us to a wonderful room because she said it just wouldn't do for us to spend 5 nights in an interior room!! From there on the stay was great! One thing I'd like to see is an after hours bar. Since the week was cold, we'd go out for dinner but didn't want to stay out - it would have been good to sit downstairs in the bar for a bit rather than sit in our room. (Especially that interior one!!!)

the hotel has so much potential...and i will honestly stay there again more than likely. the negatives, our ac was broken, the electrical outlets in our bathroom didnt work, and the continental breakfast was terrible. and they didnt care they just apogized like robots and that was it. they never did more than what was necessary. even then we were hot all night and couldnt blow dry or straighten or hair unless it was randomly in the room itself. the breakfast...geez, i had a half frozen blueberry muffin and warm milk...kinda gross. but like i said the location is the best part of this hotel.
