First time here. I felt like royalty. The decor was magnificent food outstanding I loved the sushi bar but there were plenty of choices. The conference lasted 4 days and I chose to stay a couple extra days. I am a former corporate trainer in the hospitality business. So I do tend to be a bit fussy about the level of service I expect for the amount of money I spend. There were absolutely no complaints here. From the minute I arrived until the very last minute I left every whim I had was met with cheerful staff presence informative shuttle drivers and the accommodations definately 5 star. I was amazed at the ammenities provided as I was booked into a one bedroom bungalow suite. The large kitchen with immaculate appliances and breakfast table was a joy for entertaining a few colleges and the Dining area with a huge table was great to set out some of the presentation materials. For just relaxing the living room boasted a wonderful sectional coffee table and flat screen TV. And in the same area was ample space to get some work done on the complimentary wifi computer desk with plenty of outlets to work with. My favorite space was a small balcony with seating for 2 with table. Having my morning coffee with a lovely view of the golf course or a glass of wine in the evening under the stars and a full moon. Thought I was in heaven. I sure hope the company decides to come back next year and even if they dont I know I will. If you are looking a place to impress or a place to impress yourself and be pampered this is the place you should be!

The facility is outstanding but you pay for EVERYTHING. The golf course is solidly mediocre and they charge * per person with no discount for my 17yr old and 14 yr old. We stayed in the two bedroom bungalows and they were $* night. I thought that was fair. The problem is that you really cant do anything at the resort without paying through the nose. Beach rentals were ridiculous. You want an umbrella....$25, a boogie board...$12/hr. Burgers and fries for 5 people...$150. They need to have a pay one price plan. It would be less painful. I will say that the service was impeccable and the restaurants were outstanding.

Second stay this winter came during Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Years week. Took rooms in the tower (room 966) allowing us to have a million dollar view looking at the Inter Costal and Atlantic Ocean. One the best buffet breakfast offered on the East Coast of Florida, fresh juices, pastries and quality food. There is an abundance of polite staff throughout the hotel, greeted by all employees throughout the property. The manager of the restaurant and Serendipity (the ice-cream pallor) , went out of his way to please my 3 year old daughter when she was handed an ice-cream sundae that did not contain the flavors that she originally requested (daddy to the rescue). The staff made sure that the next time they saw my daughter she got what she wanted. If and when you chose to visit Serendipity look for her picture, a picture is truly better than a thousand words. The Spa is first class along with a choice of great dinning choices on the property itself. Speaking from having the experience of staying at several west coast Florida properties you get what you pay for and in this case, the value is there if you book wisely. Judging by the diversity of the cliental that come from France, Germany, England, Mexico, Central and South America I am not alone in claiming this resort as being a true hidden Jewel. Oh yes, the hotel has a fantastic beach situated next to the newly renovated group of three full size swimming pools providing plenty of lounging area (get there early claim your spot). My daughter had a ball and so did mom and dad, thanks to all of the staff.
