09/21/2010The pictures of the hotel is misrepresenting. the hotel was clean but did not smell clean. the lobby furniture was old and dirty. the rooms had spiders, hole in ceiling ...
The pictures of the hotel is misrepresenting. The hotel was clean but did not smell clean. The lobby furniture was old and dirty. The rooms had spiders, hole in ceiling in bathroom, mildew shower curtain, dirty mattress cover, dirty carpet. We had to purchase cleaning supplies and clean the rooms. After complaining of the bad smelling room the housekeeping cleaned the rooms the next day.

Very friendly front desk staff. They are knowledgable and efficient. Rooms were clean, but damp. Our pillows were slightly damp each evening. The beds were comfortable, but a little lumpy when the mattress cover kept bunching up. Breakfast was great...a little small room for the amount of people being served, but the food and service was exceptional. For the price we paid we were expecting a lot less, but pleasantly surprised. Reported two problems...one for noise. The noise situation was immediately taken care of and we were asked about it at check out to ensure we were thoroughly satisfied. The second problem was a security issue with the door lock. It, too was handled discretely and efficiently. The staff was extremely helpful when I became ill during my three day stay. They helped me find the closest "minute clinic", provided phone numbers and directions. They even followed up later in the day with a phone call to see how I was doing. Not the kind of service I expected in a hotel located outside AC.
