We were put in to a room with 2 of the smallest cot beds I have ever been asked to sleep in by any hotel chain. They were approximately 3.5 feet wide each. Both had extremely uncomfortable mattresses and neither my wife or I got any badly needed sleep before our return trip to the US. The shower was an inconsistent dribble from a non functioning shower head. Management apologised but offered no form of compensation. I could not recommend this hotel to anyone traveller looking for a good nights sleep.

Took a trip to Europe. Dublin was one of the cities that I wanted to see. This hotel was close to the airport which was a + for my early morning flight the next day. At check in they could not find my reservation, made 6 weeks in advance. The lady behind the counter asked me to have a seat while she spoke with her mgr. Ten minutes later she returned to tell me that she still could not find the reservation. She recommended that I come around the counter and sign into my email so that she could print out the reservation. I did and she checked me in. Once she completed the check in she then told me that there was no water in the hotel but it was anticipated that it would be on in about 2 hrs. After being in my room for 3 hrs with no water I called the front desk only to find out that the water should be back on in 6 hrs, but they can move me to Clarion if I needed to. I said yes because I hadn't taken a shower in almost 24 hrs. At the Clarion, checked in took a shower, had some dinner, slept in the horrible beds. While checking out of the Clarion the next day they charged me for the room at the Clarion which I had already paid for at the Carlton. Contacted the Carlton they said that there was nothing they could do because the mgr was not in as yet. After I few frustrating words I finally got the matter resolved with a few minutes to spare to catch my flight. Basically stay away from the Carlton they are not accommodating

This hotel was one of the best designed hotels I've stayed in. Every detail is well-thought out and focused on the guest's comfort. My room was quiet, clean and spacious. The hotel staff was friendly, welcoming and accommodating of my requests. I hope they are able to maintain such a high level of guest support over time. I highly recommend this hotel. It certainly far exceeded my expectations for an airport hotel.
