To avoid this tax, foreign nationals and Peruvians who live abroad must present during hotel check-in their Customs stamped Andean Immigration Card - TAM, their Customs stamped original passport and the visa that certifies they live abroad (this last requirement is only for Peruvians that live outside Peru). Additionally, in case the room is shared by both a taxable and a non-taxable guest at the same time, the Sales Tax will be applied. About as close as you can get to Cusco?s Cathedral & beautiful Plaza de Armas without actually being on the busy square. Intimately identified with the Cuscos illustrious history, the hotel occupies a colonial building with iconic green balconies and red tiles, and features an exposed Inca stone wall in the hotel lobby. Several rooms have coveted views of the Plaza de Armas and Compana de Jesus church. Location The hotel is located just steps off the Plaza de Armas, within easy walking distance of Cuscos top sights, restaurants and shopping. A 10-minute taxi ride from the Cusco airport, and 5-minute taxi from Cuscos train & bus station. Cusco can be reached on daily flights of an hour from Lima, Juliaca (Puno) & Arequipa. The city is a bit more than 1 hour from The Sacred Valley, the fertile and spiritual garden of the Incas.
