Description: Casa Pisani Canal is a romantic vacation hotel offering canal-side accommodation in the heart of the old city, in part of the palace where the Doge once gave his lavish parties. Situated close to the Piazza San Marco and the Rialto Bridge, the walls of the hotel are reflected in the waters of the canal - a truly romantic setting. The five rooms are of various sizes. All are elegantly furnished and provided with every comfort- bathrooms have basins, showers or Jacuzzis, the rooms have air conditioning, satellite TV, telephones and safes. There are two junior suites with canal views, and an internet point is available in the entrance hall. Prices for bed and breakfast run from EURO 95 to 190, depending on room and season. And lovely as the hotel is, a marvellous mixture of old Venetian with all the modern comforts, its situation at the heart of the city makes it simply unbeatable. The area around Piazza San Marco is the Venice we all know from the photographs - gondolas bobbing gently at their moorings, with the buildings of La Serenissima rising majestically behind. Napoleon described the Square as the finest drawing room in Europe, and today its parades, markets and festivities still draw visitors from the world over. Your hosts speak English and French. The hotel is easy to reach. From the main city car park at the Piazzale Roma, or from the rail station, you simply take a waterbus to the Rialto Bridge.
