Our room had and frig. and mircowave and was clean and neat. If you want a very pricey room and hotel this may not be for you, but if you want a good hotel and a bargin for your dollar, I think this ones a good choise

We had 5 people in our party so we chose this room since it was the only one with 3 beds in the room. It was very clean and inexpensive considering the location (right on Canal Street in the French Quarter) and amount of space and features in the room (kitchenette, desk, large flatscreen TV, huge windows, very nice staff)! I almost didn't book it since we stayed in a different Clarion in a different city that was very dirty with rude staff. There is no pool here (the only downfall) but otherwise we would stay at this Clarion again!

This hotel is by far one of my favorites that I've ever stayed at! The hotel has recently been renovated from top to bottom and you can tell the moment you walk in the door. The staff is so helpful and pleasant...check in/out was a breeze and they provided a lot of great tips on what to see and do. There are about 30 parking spots next to the hotel reserved for guests (and gated and secured) for only $* a day and we got there at 4pm to check in and got the last spot. Now, to the room - AMAZING! We didn't realize it ahead of time, but it's standard to have a kitchennette in all rooms with a stove, fridge, sink, microwave, cabinets, coffee pot, and counterspace. If you want to heat up left overs, keep drinks cold, or make a quick meal, it works perfectly. The rooms are huge and very modern, clean, and well kept. The beds are some of the most comfortable I've ever slept in at a hotel. We were on the 15th floor and had a great view of the skyline. The room is about twice the size of a typical hotel room so there was more than enough room for 4 adults in the room. The workout room has new, state of the art equipment and is very clean. The free breakfast was the best perk! There is sausage gravy, biscuts, fresh waffles, bagels, donuts, cereal, muffins, breads, fresh fruit, fruit salad, oatmeal, grits, juice, & coffee. The location is perfectly fine. Yeah it's a few blocks from Burbon St/French Quarter, but it's a safe & straight walk. With all the eating and drinking you do in New Orleans, the short (5-10min) walk does the body good!

We stayed here for a Bachelorette weekend in New Orleans. The hotel itself was fine. However, with 16 floors and only 2 elevators, checkout was hectic. It was impossible to get an elevator going down to check out before 11AM. Would definitely recommend them investing in another elevator. However, the staff people were really polite and nice. They answered any questions we had and helped us with anything we needed. The rooms were cleaned and the beds were made when we came back after being out all day. Always had fresh towels, which is very important to me. The air condition works. There were two ceiling fans. The water did take a LONG time to get hot though, but once it got hot, it was REALLY hot. The real drawback that I didn't like that it really was several blocks away from EVERYTHING. Granted it's on Canal Street, but several blocks is A LOT of walking. However, we did take the Trolley back to the hotel from the RiverWalk location, so it wasn't bad. Taking a taxi from the hotel to Bourbon Street is atleast $*, depending on how many passengers you have. All in all, the hotel itself is not bad, but I would really rather pay more to stay closer to French Quater.

Good location and they have potential, but are rough around the edges. 1st night the TV went out. Called the desk and it was replaced with 1/2 hr. I had to program it however. Next morning I ran out of hot water during my shower. That night my foot found a furniture foot with a nail sticking out of it.Next morning, no hot water again. Maintenance just had to flush the lines as they had a problem erlier in the week. For 2 days the housekeeping did not replace the coffee and tea. Had to 'borrow' from the breakfast when it was open. Finally, the 'free breakfast' was late 2 out of 5 mornings and the papers were all gone. Nothing insurmountable but for the price wasn't such a value, even with discounted prices.
