It's been 5 years since I stayed here, writing a review now because I just finished a review on an different hotel I recently stayed in several weeks ago in Paris. I recent stay was only about a 45-minute walk away but it was also a world away. I walked by this hotel to reminise and had a bit of a frown from beating myself up for not staying here again. Althouth I am an avid believer in trying different things/trying something new...I shouldn't have did it this time. If I ever return for a 3rd time I will absolutely pick this hotel unless I fork out the doe to stay at a 4-5 star hotel (doubtful). Although small rooms (most Parisian/European hotels are) it was very well maintained and clean. As the previous reviewer stated, it is on a small street with many vendors/shops in each direction as you walk out the hotel. You could actually spend a full day if you where to take your time an visit them all and eat lunch and supper. On our stay, they actually had a concert in the small square up the street. If the price is right, select this hotel. It was one of the cheaper ones availalbe 5 years ago and I was suprised. For the price, location, cleanliness, atmosphere, etc...a bargainers 5 star pick!!
