Although it's an older hotel, the rooms are kept very clean. The staff is great! I called that the a/c and bathroom light was not working. I no sooner put down the phone when someone was at the door! The fix took less than five mintes. The internet is not the best, but they did give me a cable for that also. The beds were very comfortable. In walking distance is a Walgreens and a cafe directly across from the Walgreens. Pricey, but great food! It was a great location. Centrally located, offstreet parking. I would go there again. If you're looking for a basic hotel with good service. This is it. The breakfast was also very good.

We were very happy with our accommodations - clean and comfortable. The room was large and well-appointed. The breakfast was better than I expected. The hotel was undergoing renovations, so some of the stairs were closed, causing minor disruptions. We used this as our base for visiting Universal Studios and downtown L.A., and it wasn't too far (but much cheaper than closer hotels).

I had to go to Pasadena for a family funeral. The staff at this hotel got me a room and my eldery mother in law next to each other with just 2 days notice! I have never had such great service from a hotel before. The rooms were clean, quiet and really nice. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. We're going to stay here again when we decide to explore Pasadena and the train store a few doors down from them.
