My husband and I stayed at this hotel for New Year's Eve because it wasn't sold out, it was affordable and we could walk to the Harbor for the fireworks/nightlife. There were a few faults with this hotel that we noticed instantly but I was willing to overlook that because I was in a festive mood. However, the straw that broke the camel's back was awful front desk worker. We were blatantly ignored by the front desk worker while she fussed on the telephone. We left the front desk, came back and she not only ignored my husband and I but she also ignored another guest who eventually left. Oddly, a woman approached the desk and within a few seconds the rude worker put her call on hold and serviced that woman! I was furious and wanted to leave immediately. Ironically, one of the reasons we when to the front desk was to arrange an extra night because we didn't want the hassle of trying to find another hotel with vacancies on the busy holiday weekend. ~ In addition to DIRTY PREMISES (dusty tables, airvents and several mysterious stains on the floor), NO HOT WATER IN THE SHOWER, and AWFUL FRONT DESK WORKER there was also NO PARKING in the garage because of construction. We had to find our own parking space, which is not an easy task in downtown Baltimore. ~Routinely my husband and I visit downtown Baltimore and we hoped to find a hotel to regularly return to. Comfort Inn and Suites is not the one! Do not stay there!

I did not have a good experience at this hotel. The first night there we had no air conditioning and it was at least 90 degrees out and humid.. we were on the 10th floor and there were no screens in the windows! I was told that night that there were no other rooms or any fans we could use and that I wasn't the only one complaining! The AC was supposed to have been fixed but after returning to the hotel at 11 pm that night it was evident that it still was not functioning! The front desk person was rude and stated I was the only one who complained that night and she would send up a fan...again they did not have another room to send us to. After a 1/2 hour of waiting, the fan never arrived but we had another problem. The toilet had backed up and was overflowing with excrement. We called and asked to have someone come up and fix it and clean up and were told by the male night desk person that he couldn't leave the desk but we could come down for a plunger! My 73 year old father went down for the plunger and the fan (which they had none left!) and was told they could not find one, he offered to let my father check the basement to see if he could find it, he didn't but found a plumbers snake, so at 1230am my dad snaked the toilet and cleaned up the mess. the next day we checked out after several calls to the elusive manger and 1800 CHOICE..I refused to pay the bill for either night and after a bit of a struggle was comped for both nights. It was a disgusting stay!

It wasn't in the best part of town, but was very nice inside. I went as part of a group of students for a convention downtown and we thought very highly of the two rooms we had. There was a hole in the bathroom wall of room 602, but the staff was generally courteous. The dining room was twice as expensive as it should have been for the food they served.

If you are looking for a hotel for a longer stay this is pretty good. Kitchen has fridge, microwave and stove top but very limited cutlery and dishes. Free cable internet access in rooms. Supermarket 1.5 blocks away. Broken drapes and toilet roll holder are examples of lack of maintenace, but it was clean enough.
