PRAISE: Nice room, very clean, new decor, professional lobby, roomy, new shower heads, did I mention very clean! A variety of pillows, air conditioning, and free wi-fi were other things that we enjoyed. There is a hot continental breakfast with pastries, eggs, bacon, waffles, yogurts. It's not outstanding but is more than your standard danish, coffee, & juice and filled us. they had HBO and, I believe, SHOWTIME movies at no extra cost. The price point for the value was quite good. The site is conveniently located off of I-5. Parking is free- there were no hidden charges. COMPLAINT: The pool was disgustingly murky!!!! Grey, dirty, and slightly smelly water. DEAR LORD PEOPLE CLEAN YOUR POOL! The kids jumped in before I could stop them. YIKES. The kids found grit and rocks on the bottom scraping their feet. Another patron mentioned that the hot tub, while having exceptionally nice, powerful jets was murky as well. Clean your pool and I would stay again!

While intending to stay just 1 night, I ended up staying 3 due to a last minute change in plans. The hotel was fine, with great access from very close I-5 (which is hidden by topograpghy and thus there is no noise issue). The staff were competent and helpful. The breakfast was adequate. Local and USA Today newspapers were available free of charge (local delivered to door; USAT available in the lobby next to the breakfast room). The wireless internet never had a problem. I would stay here again...and plan to do so next year the next time I plan to be in the Portland area.

What a great stay. My wife and two daughters had a great time. The staff is very courteous and goes out of their way to assist in all your needs. We travel to Oregon yearly and would not think of staying in any other hotel in the Portland area. Worth evrey penny plus
