The pool water was disgusting! I asked several times it they were going to fix it during our stay. They told me it was OK to swim even though you couldn't see the bottom of the pool. I'd like to know that the NC Dept of Health thinks of the safety of the pool water.... There are only 4 pieces of exercise equipment and one ws broken. Hallways are not air conditioned.

I was disappointed because I have stayed at Hometown Inns and Suites and there is no comparison. The suites are laid out like a standard hotel room with the restroom in the center instead of back or front. The "kitchen" consists of a small sink and dorm size fridge. The ac is in the back room, cold in there, hot in front room. The sofa bed frame was warped, had to literally kick it too get it back into couch. The hot tub was out of order and the pool was freezing cold, even though there are gas water heaters for both. Classic case of "you get what you pay for". If you want to stay in a "suite", go to Hometown. It's about a block away and worth the extra money IMHO. The rooms were clean and service was excellent but I probably wouldn't stay again unless we had to bring our dog, the hotel is pet friendly.

We were booked at the Wingate by Wyndham and found out that they didn't have a 24 hour shuttle to the airport. Our flight was at 6 am and they tried to convince us that a 5am shuttle would work fine. They had also steered us to a terrible restaurant on our incoming day (the Ranch House on Wilkenson...awful place). We switched to the Country Inn and Suites across the road and were very pleased: 24 hour shuttle, saved *, and very pleasant staff.

I had a great experience at the hotel. A assosicate and I were staying there for business in town and I have never had such a good experience at a hotel ever before. I am going to stay there anymore when I am in charlotte and recommend it to family and friends when they are in the area.
