Well, it's been a little over two years since my last review. Hotel was clean, staff was respectful and cheerful for the most part. Breakfast has really gone downhill. Now I'd rate it average at best. Tried to pay for my 2 day stay with a check (I've been staying here about 3 times a year for the last 2 years)(always paid with check)(they have my credit card on file). Wouldn't accept check; when I spoke with manager she held to the policy and even got to the point where she called me stubborn (I am but, not her call). The hotel is still in a good area. Best Bonanza steakhouse I've ever been in just a block away. I wouldn't discourage anyone from staying becasue of my experience but I won't be back. Better breakfast at the Comfort Suites accross the road.

Property was clean and well-kept. Room was very nice, and bed was very comfortable. Excellent large LCD TV. Excellent high-speed wireless Internet at no extra charge. Conveniently located on ""main drag"" just south of ""downtown"" area. This is an excellent choice - I'd stay here again if traveling to Marquette.

This was a nice hotel. After leaving Chicago and spending a day in Green Bay, I drove up to Marquette to spend the night here before touring the upper peninsula of Michigan. It was a nice, cozy hotel. It's a little out of the way (i.e. not in the main part of town), but not too bad. Staff was nice, and the breakfast was very good. The hotel was very quiet; the guest info sheet in the room specifically says they have quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am, and everyone seemed to observe it. Just two points of caution for light sleepers like me: There was some kind of engine starting & stopping periodically outside the hotel throughout the night (it was off the property somewhere). Don't know if it was just a one-time thing. Also, the A/C is a little loud. Earplugs were enough to squelch both.

Great addition to the Marquette area

Check in was slow but I was more than adequately compensated for my inconvenience. This is probably the best free breakfast I've had in a motel. This new facility has added great competition to the Marquette motel system. A place where king-sized beds are at a premium. They don't have the attitude that they're doing you a favor by allowing you to stay there. A great value if you're looking for comfortable accomodations.
