I have stayed at this Country Inn and Suites many times and have always had great experiences, always clean and very good staff. It is really nice that they have a restaurant/bar on site. Not many places with the rates that this hotel has have that available and if they do then they don't have a continental breakfast available to their guests. I hope to stay here again in Feburary of 2011.

Great Place to Stay
04/18/2010The front desk and staff were very pleasant and accommodating. all aspects of the hotel were great---from the pool to the breakfast. our room was very comfortable.

Broken toilet/ crappy parking / wasn't worth it

We checked in with high hopes - this hotel is beautiful from the outside and sits on the edge of the river in beautiful Sioux Falls, a town rich with history. However, it was more than we'd bargained for. As soon as we got in our room we discovered that the toilet was broken. We left for supper in hopes that it would be fixed upon our return - it wasn't. We had to call someone in to fix it AGAIN because it would not shut off. This made for an uncomfortable hour or so because we were sitting in our room waiting for someone to come in and fix a toilet which kind of put a hold on our evening.
The parking was HORRIBLE. When we left someone almost ran us over trying to get our spot. This happened more than once. We weren't able to park in the lot most of the time, which was kind of an inconvenience when you are supposed to have stickers to park in the lot, yet half of the vehicles in the lot weren't marked. Kind of frustrating.
We had fun trying to use the remote control, which wouldn't work consistently.
All in all, it was a lttle run down for what we paid and the walls were too thin.
A little disappointing. Hopefully they clean up their act. -

OK for the price
08/31/2006We have stayed here a few times in the past year. for the price it is an ok place, could use some fixer upper things though. the front desk staff ...
We have stayed here a few times in the past year. For the price it is an OK place, could use some fixer upper things though. The front desk staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good. I would stay here again.
