I have stayed at this hotel twice within the last 8 months. It's well maintained and the rooms are clean. An fantastic bonus is that parking is free, and the shuttle runs to the airport and the T station there on a regular basis. It's a convenient T ride to any location in Boston that you want to visit. Upon your return, you only need to call for a shuttle pick-up. Pick-up time varies with the number of pick-ups requested from customers at air terminals.

We stayed at this property because in the past (June of 2007) we had an excellent experience there. This visit, the entire place was being remodeled! It is on its way to becoming a Courtyard by Marriot. Our room was lovely -- everything new, including a fabulous Japanese style sliding door on the bathroom!! The negatives for us were two: It's a long walk schlepping luggage through a tent/tunnel between the parking lot and the front desk. (We never saw one of those wheeled carts) And the restaurant/lounge, which were really why we chose this place for our visit, were completely closed, and replaced by an overpriced ""cafeteria"" in what seemed to actually be a guest room. I'd try this place again, but first I'll check to make sure the renovations are completed! If they are, I bet it would merit a 5 rating! It did last year...!!

I had to pick up my husband at the airport at midnight. They had a 24hr shuttle, which saved me time, parking, and the cost of parking to pick him up. The front desk was extremely courteous and helpful!! There is still some renovations being done, but it looks as if it will be completed very shortly. That wasn't a problem for me. The hotel is looking great!! The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable! I got the BEST night sleep!! If not booked, when my husband returns from Iraq in March of 09, I will stay there again!!

I chose the hotel based on price, internet and proximity to airport. With an early flight the next morning, I simply wanted to be close, roll out of bed and stumble to the airport. I expected and was greeted by an aging building. The lobby was clean but showing signs of age. The staff was very friendly, checkin took less than 2 minutes. As I entered the elevator, it too confirmed the age of the building with clean but well-worn brass trim. Upon exiting the elevator, the new, vibrant carpet should have been my first clue as to what would follow. As I entered my room, I was was shocked to see new furniture, and outstanding bed and large LCD TV. Digital thermometer let me set my specific temperature. Room service was also surprisingly good. My choice of broiled fish, clam chowder was delivered quickly and hot. The staff was again outstanding. This hotel is worth a look

This place is terrible!!! I was put in a total of three rooms. The first room I arrived in was an unmade bed and not yet cleaned. The second room smelled of cigarette smoke (which was a non-smoking room) and the third room smelled worse than a old damp cellar (very, very musty.) By that time I was too embarassed to asked to be moved again. Way too much money for such a dump. I have stayed in Holiday Inn's previously and never were they like this. Don't book a reservation, you will be extremey disappointed.
