Nice staff, a tired rooms and mattress

The hotel was clean and the staff seemed friendly and helpful. The rooms were a little tired and the mattress was at the end of its lifespan. The walking conditions getting to the rest of the city were nasty. Charleston seemed like a walkable city but this hotel was separated from the city by essentially an at grade freeway (freeway offramp). This made walking over to the hotel a little harsh. The street designs like the one around this hotel are a big part of the reason we have so may fat people here.

I have no complaints what so ever about this hotel. All the staffs were very polite and always smiling. I will recommend this hotel to anyone. Not far from downtown area either aprox. 2miles give or take. I give these guys a A++++

04/04/2010Overall, good hotel. location is excellent. rooms somewhat small with limited storage. restaurant is good but a bit overpriced for a simple breakfast.
