First of all there was used toilet paper already in our bathroom, Second we were there for two night and not once did house keeping go in. We left around 6 am to a cheerleeding competition and did not come back till around 11:30pm. No fresh towels to shower and beds not made. I called to the front desk and they could not even change me to another room. Management very rude. As I went down to print my boarding passes. The computer was not working as well and the printer. I had to stand in line for 30 minutes for the front desk to print my boarding passes. Would not stay here again.

Stayed here for three nights midweek. Hotel is finishing a very nice renovation. Housekeeping was spotty -- looked good at start but no "refreshing" during stay. No fresh towels during entire stay. No amenity bag as promised and asked for. No vaccuuming in halls or room during stay although it was needed. Bed only partially made one day despite leaving tips. Front desk personnel not concerned or proactive when asked about issues. Did not try the restaurants but they smelled good. Landscaping still not up to par in pool area/patio. Because is on edge of a semi-rough area the huge (two city blocks) property is completely fenced with only one entrance/exit which was a little inconvenient. Directly across street from Reliant Arena so if going to a game/event you won't have to worry about parking or traffic. Lots of great restaurants in area but need car to get to them. Close (3 miles) to medical centers and staff seemed very attentive to medical needs. Hotel is quiet and has a very low occupancy rate thus the low price.

We were very happy with everything about the hotel! The staff could not have been nicer! It was so, so convenient to the Reliant Stadium!!! However, you have heard about the 'bed bugs' epidemic in the country?!! Well, our room () was obviously infested witht the darn bugs! When I got back home, I took and shower and noticed dozens of bites all over my body! I had never experienced anything like this and I have been all over the world! Check your room---especially the beds---before you move in!

I was very impressed with the look and feel of the hotel. The front desk was very accommodating. The room was very nice, spacious, and comfortable - with a patio overlooking the pool. The hotel has a wonderful fitness room. Nearby shopping and eateries made for convenience. The downside of my experience is that housekeeping missed the mark a little and that ice and snacks were not easily available. Also, the doors leading from the parking lot into the guest halls were supposed to be accessible with guest key card only - but that security function was out of order. I felt some apprehension when getting on and off the elevator, and when going to my room.

Definitely not a Crowne Plaza

I was very disappointed in this hotel. It appears Crowne Plaza bought out a strip motel, painted the outside, failed to refurb the inside, and built a front-end reservation desk/and 8 story actual hotel to hide the rest. Outer buildings (where most reservations go) are very very old, seedy, moldy. Buffet area has horrible service for "dinner" and "breakfast". Continued to ask myself if this truly was a "Crowne Plaza". Only highpoint: You can walk to Reliant Stadium. Seems they knew this when they failed to continue to rehab the rest of the buildings. Supply and Demand. If ever again, I would be sure my room was in the "true Crowne Plaza Building" in the front. or not stay at all. Maybe the newer rooms in the tower are better. ??
