A friend and I wanted a last minute girls weekend getaway and found these great deals to Seattle through Travelocity. We spent hours trying to figure out which hotel to book. I was a little nervous about the Crowne due to the mixed reviews and when I called the hotel after booking the trip, the hotel said they couldn't guarantee any of my accommodation requests ie. double beds, which floor or early check in... We landed early and got to the hotel by noon (check in was 3pm or 4pm). The front desk was so nice and friendly and not only let us check in early, gave us a room on the 25th floor with an awesome view of the city. The room was much bigger than expected, everything clean and the sign in the bathroom said to let the staff know if we forgot anything from shower caps to a sewing kit- which I had to make use of. The hotel is in a great location- a few blocks from the light rail, the monorail and Pike's Market. We ended up not renting a car and did fine walking everywhere. I saw the complaints for no free internet which I guess could be a pain for people on a business trip but for a weekend trip it was not a hassle and I used their business center to print out something I forgot at home- for free and between the free business center and my smart phone-it was fine. My only complaint and it wasn't a big deal at all was that their food was pricey. But the focus of our trip was to to try all the great local restaurants so we never ate at the hotel. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Crowne Plaza Seattle!

Very nice hotel. Be prepared to pay over $* a night for parking or be prepared to walk 3 blocks to park where it is less expensive. It was actually a good thing as i was able to experience fresh cool air first thing in the morning where normally i would sleep in this is as a result of having to move the car before 7am. Hotel is close to everything. I stayed on the 30th floor with incredible views. I would recommend the stay to anyone.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was disappointed. I reserved an executive club level room, only to discover how small the rooms are. I moved to a suite on the 25th floor which was nice until the next day when a water pipe broke and water was leaking from the ceiling. The time it took get get a hold of the front desk and get help was upsetting. They offered me a room on the 16th floor and a free breakfast, really just a free breakfast, wow. The view was not good and the room had a funky smell so I just checked out. I will tell everyone I know not to stay at this hotel.

We stayed at this downtown hotel one night after our Alaskian cruise. It was very convenient to everything downtown ;Space Needle complex, waterfront, museums;. It was a $* taxi ride from the cruise ship docks to the hotel. Public transportation is convenient, very inexpense or free in downtown Seattle. We took taxis, buses and the monorail and go to see alot of Seattle in one day quickly and easily. We were able to walk down to the waterfront and took a bus to the Seattle Needle Center. The concierge desk was very helpful and provided directions, maps and suggestions as well as had a taxi waiting for us when it was time to go to the airport. The room was very clean and spacious but a bit noisy as we were next to the elevator. You should ask for a room with a view if possible. We opted to take this room as we wanted to check in early and this was the only room available at that moment.
