I stayed there for two weeks, and I was pre-paid so I was stuck there. My stay at the Days Inn was one of the scariest experiences of my life. There was a panhandler camped out at the ice machine, tailgate parties going on the parking lot which is pretty much a truck stop, and very creepy characters parked all night long by the front door chain smoking. The two side doors were broken, so they were pretty much wide open, and my screen was popped out on the first floor. The staff was super-friendly.

Read these past reviews which were old and was apprehensive but we were pleasantly surpised. At first we were very disappointed when we found out that the website we used to make the booking for a four night stay was only going to allow us a double bed for two tall people. The problem was that the hotel cannot change the reservation at all or they do not get paid. A wonderful, wonderful woman at the front desk worked out a way around it for us and gave us a very comfortable room. The facility has been totally redone since those reviews were written. It is extremely clean and the beds are very comfortable plus the whole building is non-smoking (however they seem to let the smokers congreate right by the door. The breakfast was not as elaborate as at other hotels but I got a rate where I did not expect that much and my expectations were exceeded even on that. Good turn-around of this motel.

Where can I start... beds are wrapped in plastic (hmmm), walls are extremely thin and no seal on the door (so you hear everything in the hallway and next door), incredibly small single-bed rooms and even more outrageously small bathrooms, sink is outside bathroom and directly in the way of the room door (so you have to move or get hit every time the door opens), cockroach, the advertised hot breakfast is barely continental, wireless Internet network in some rooms was better on the Super 8 network from across the parking lot, advertised secured key entry outside after dark not in effect, untalented bagpipe player in parking every morning, and to top it all off, the billing receipt was completely incorrect--price, my name, my credit card.

If you need to save money come to the Exel Inn. The bathroom is so small it hardly fits a toilet and a shower. The sink is outside the bathroom it is so small. The rest of the room is small too. This is good for a place to stay and that is it.
