This hotel is not something I would recommend. Upon arrival, our hotel room was freezing, the rooms contain two small double beds, a desk, a tv, a telephone you have to pay * extra dollars for and* cents a minute local calls. The safe you have to pay extra for to use, and the room looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in years. The stairwells are never cleaned, they are sticky and things are spilled all over them and there are no elevators in this hotel, so don't pack heavy. Also not mentioned, is the coal train that runs at all hours of the day right passed the hotel rooms.

I would not go back to this hotel again. It was dirty, the sheets did not fit the bed and kept coming off the mattress. I was disgusted at the thought of sleeping on the mattress alone. The room was not clean. We found old popcorn from a previous guest under the bed skirting along with somebody's dirty sock. we had ants coming out of one of our pillowcases. when we took it to the front desk and requested another one they said they did not have anymore pillows and gave me a dirty pillowcase because they didn"t have any clean ones. We were only given three towels in the room and we had five people in our room. When we came back late after spending the day at Cedar Point we went to the front desk to ask for more towels and they had no clean towels at all, not even any pool towels. Our party had a total of four rooms all together and this is just a sampling of things to complain about. The list is much longer. Bottom line is I will steer anyone I know clear of this hotel and we will never consider staying there again no matter how cheap. I could not get any kind of a refund because I booked it through web rather than directly through the hotel.

The first impressions of this hotel on approach are not good, from the ruddy, worn exterior, lack of landscaping, peeling paint to the gum and soda stained concrete. The carpet in the hallways obviously hadn't been washed in years and needed to be replaced. Apparently, many of the door closers need to be replaced also as I heard many doors slamming. All of this gives you little confidence that the cleanliness of your room is up to par and prompts you to look for other deficiencies. Our room was OK sans mystery carpet stains. Too bad for the staff that works here, they were more or less helpful and friendly. In a nutshell, this hotel facility in terms of housekeeping and maintenance is very poor and whom ever owns it should be fired. This location (chain?) has failed to distinguish itself in a very competitive market. There are much better accommodations for the price.

The hotel was by all meaning "not worth it", at first when I entered the lobby, the person working there was by all means scary, and rude. Our reservation was not confirmed and it took us 30 minutes to get another room. The rooms were dirty, the bed matress was bad, as if you are sleeping on the ground. The breakfast was served in a 2x2 room that had to fit all the people staying in that hotel and so people were taking their food to their rooms. All in all, I will never consider this hotel again, or even Days inn chain.
