The first impression from the outside was not good, but it was actually much nicer in the room than expected. The room looked recently updated. The room was clean, bathrooms had tile, and hard surface counters. The furniture was also clean, bedspreads were bright and the bed was really soft & comfortable--we stayed in a king. If you are looking for luxury--stay somewhere else. If you need a decent, clean place to stay--this will do!

This hotel is across the street from the beach, but in our opinion was just as good as staying oceanfront (without the high price). We had a good view of the ocean because there wasn't a building across the street from us. (However, there will be another hotel built in that location in 2009.) We only had to walk across the street to get to the beach, which wasn't bad at all. Our hotel room was very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast was okay (nothing great) and the hours were 6 to 10 am. The pool, hot tub, and sundeck area were very clean and had a nice view of the ocean. We would stay in this hotel again when visiting VA Beach.

This hotel was fabulous! The staff was very friendly to us and very accomodating. The hotel was a tad pricey- but totally worth it. The room was super clean and everything worked! The balcony overlooked the ocean and everything made for a wonderful romantic anniversary getaway! Id definitely stay there again!
