  I grew up in Akron and had not been there for several years, I decided to take a short trip(2days) 8/2010; the Doubletree was a good choice. I found the location to be perfect for getting around town. The hotel was clean and the service was very friendly. There were plenty of shopping and eateries in the location. I would stay there again.

  Felt the hotel was very comfortable and nice for the pricing. The front desk staff while friendly were not very flexible and gave someone else traveling with me a difficult time. I would stay again. It was a smaller hotel with amenities of a fancier location

  I thought the hotel was way overpriced for what you get. the linens were old the beds were tiny and lumpy, very uncomfortable. the food was horrible and also way ...

  I thought the hotel was way overpriced for what you get. The linens were old the beds were tiny and lumpy, very uncomfortable. The food was horrible and also way overpriced. I will never stay there again and it leaves a bad taste for future Sheratons.
