Check-in was quick and easy. My room was clean and nice. The bed was very comfortable. Cushy comforter and pillows. Staff were polite. Good location for business we conducted in the Edina/Eden Prarie/Bloomington area. I looked for a good-priced hotel for this business trip and stayed away from hotels that seemed geared more toward families and vacations. I was very satisfied. Concerns might include no free Internet in the rooms, but you do get three free hours on your laptop in the business center or 45 min free on one of their computers. You get 5 free pages of black and white printing - just enough for boarding passes. Did not eat there. Fitness facility had treadmill, ellipticals, and weights.

Has changed for the worse in last two years

I stayed at the Sheraton for a conference two years ago, and loved it. I went back for that same conference this year, and it was not a good experience. It started off poorly - the reservation people were very unhelpful. The shuttle has been discontinued (a huge negative), but they had it to accomodate several conferences. It did not run as regularly as the schedule stated, and the one driver was so incredibly rude it was unreal. He had a less than half full shuttle, but refused to let the rest of us get on until he felt like it. We waited 20 more minutes, until I went to the front desk and raised holy heck, and only then, after several other staff members asked him what in the world he was doing, did he relent and allow everyone else on. The maid cornered me in the hallway every time I saw her, asking nosy and very personal questions. That was a first in all the times I have traveled. I never had enough clean towels, and did not get the water in my room replaced daily as I was told I would being on the preferred guest floor. The phone in my room did not work. A worker came to inspect it, tried it out, and told me it was fixed. When I tried to call room service, it was again not working. I could never get hot water - I literally stood shivering under the shower every day I was there. I mentioned it to several other people at the conference, and they all found the same problem. Room service was outrageously expensive, much more than I have ever experienced elsewhere. The food at the conference was terrible. I would not recommend the Sheraton.

This is a beautiful hotel. The room is large, love the big pillows. Also enjoyed the Bar/Grill area. I am sorry to say I may have to book elsewhere next year for my Mall of America trip, as I didn't like having to take the city bus. This hotel used to have free MOA shuttle. Really need that since I make this trip alone.

Customer service was not good. We booked with this hotel because it offered shuttles to airport and several other places that we were going to. These services were cancelled and cost us a lot of $ in cab fees.
