Was a great location close to campus (walking distance). I was visiting Missoula to see my new granddaughter and stayed for 8 days/nights at this hotel. Staff was very helpful, front desk even had a disposable diaper for us when my son forgot the diaper bag. My daughter -in- law (nursing mom) loved the warm cookies and we asked for them often going thru lobby and staff was very accomodating. Food was great (esp. breakfast) in hotel restaurant, nice view of river for diners. Large martini selection also very fun (hard to choose). Waitstaff was helpful, would be nice if they didn't rush into lunch menu at 11:00 for those of us from different time zones. Kitchen staff seem to put pressure on waiters to move to lunch menu, not real busy and we wanted breakfast. That was only negative. I will definately stay again and recommend it for family going out for the graduation.

I booked 2 rooms one month prior to our visit through travel on line After booking, I called the hotel to request adjoining rooms. Upon arrival,we discovered they were not able to give us adjoining rooms. The night manager worked a bit of magic and put us on the same floor, down the hall from one another. One room had a small, strange closet without closet doors (??) the other room had a ceiling tile fallen down in the closet-- it was just hanging there. Everyone at the front desk is very nice, though. The warm cookies on arrival are a sweet touch. But the rooms are expensive for what turned out to be so-so accommodations.

Excellent location to the University of Montana. Within walking distance. The staff was very helpful at check in. Gave us a map and directions to the campus. Plus, hot cookies upon arrival. Nice room ammenitiies from towels, sheets and soaps and lotions. We were very pleased with the hotel restaurant. Food was great. The bar was a nice place to unwind after a long day of walking around. We will be staying here again when visiting my son at school.

We stay at the Missoula Doubletree at least 3 times a year and always have great service. We have stayed at more prestigious hotels all over the world and the Missoula Doubletree is one of our favorites. Their staff is always very friendly but also very efficient. The rooms are aways clean and extremely comfortable. The restaurant has delicious meals and one of our favorite things to do is sit on their deck drinking wine and watching the river. We also love that we can easily walk into town and enjoy all its benefits too. We would definately recommend the Missoula Doubletree.

The only place they had to eat was in the bar. We were seated near a bunch of load-mouth drunks. Had to yell across the table to be heard. Ordered cooked Salmon, it was served raw. Went back for breakfast, couldn't even get waited on! Lousy food, lousy service, lousy experience!
