Staff was friendly and helpful! The pool was warm and wonderful and each room includes a jacuzzi. Stay also includes free continental breakfast with waffles! I would NOTuse the deal to take the bus to the tropicana. The bus drivers were RUDE and the worst drivers I had ever seen!!!

Room was for a 1 night stay prior to having comps at showboat. for the price room was great. It was clean, heat worked great. Tons of shopping and restaurants in the area. Desk staff was helpful and courteous. Tub was a nice size large enough and deep enough for two people to relax. If your looking for a clean comfortable affordable room room. This is the place.

The room was pretty plain. Nothing to brag about. It didn't seem very clean. I actually went to the store and bought a can of lysol and a bottle of clorox cleaner and cleaned the bathroom myself. The jacuzzi tub was very big, the bathroom was very big. That was the best part of the room. We asked for extra pillows and towels but they said they didn't have any. So we had no towels for the pool or to shower the next morning. There is no hair dryer in the room. There is no sofa in the room and no rollaway was available for my son even though they advertise it. The pool was very small. There were some characters in the parking lot all night. August, 2008.

Hotel exceeded expectations. Room was recently remodeled, very clean, and we were provided with everything including extra towels without asking. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The owners made and ate breakfast with everyone each day-and were pleasant and friendly. Maintenance of the building and grounds was obvious. Many surprises: small gym available 24/7, music at the pool, WiFi, all rooms with microwave, small refrigerator, and jacuzzi, and the breakfast was eggs/bacon/waffles/ along with continental choices(free). The kids enjoyed discovering the towel art left on the beds each day. Felt like visiting a family that we actually liked! Location was great: 2 minutes from Storybookland, 15 minutes to Ocean City, 12 minutes to Atlantic City, 15 minutes to Margate, 20 minutes to Stone Harbor/Avalon...Excellent shopping and dining within 0.5 miles including Macy's/Kohls/.... BEST KEPT SECRET IN N.J.!

We were told that the travel online quoted rate for the room is out of date at the time of check-in and was taken in reluctently. We were given a room with a jacuzzi tub that doesn't work. The jacuzzi tub is right out in the bedroom (no doors only curtain). The whole floor coming to the bed is damp and was stinking. There were no internet in the room though advertized. Bad bad experience. Not worth the money.
