It is called an Econo Lodge for a reason...while price was very economic, so was everything else... mattress (hard), towels (minimal and thin), amenities in room (no coffee pot, coffee or hair dryer), 'hot' breakfast' bar (consisted of microwave sausage/biscuits that were yucky, waffles you made yourself and,a few pastries) ... and while it was cheap and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and it was convenient for what we were there for, it was just a little too "economic" for us.

Lots of problems here...our reservation was lost--thank goodness I had printed out the confirmation, and the person on duty honored it. The door to one of the rooms assigned to us would not lock at all. It took almost 30 minutes to check in. The decor of the rooms was very dated, and the cleanliness of the rooms varied. The complimentary breakfast consisted of a toaster & bread. When we went to turn in our keys, the person on duty said the clerk the night before forgot to have us fill out the registration form, so we did it before we left. Things seemed very unorganized, and if we're in the area again, I am confident we will choose another place to stay.

I booked this hotel because it was inexpensive, not expecting more than a simple place to stay and something minimal for breakfast. WAS I EVER SURPRISED!! As we arrived, my husband & I were impressed with the attractive decor & cleanliness of the place. Things were in good repair, the room had a refrigerator, the internet was fast and easy to use, the staff were courteous & tireless! The breakfast was awesome, from waffles to breakfast sandwiches, to choice of beverage, to a variety of muffins/breads, etc. The room entrances are inside, not outside, giving a greater feeling of security to a long traveler. Basically, I expected little and got much, very pleased with the experience!!!

03/22/2010Pleasantly surprised that my room had a microwave and fridge. room was exceptionally clean. cracker barrel restaurant was right across the parking lot, which was great.

The staff at this hotel was incredible, attending to every one of my needs and then some. They didn't charge me for a fax i had to send and printed detailed instructions to the warehouse i needed to go too. The rental car place despite being less then a mile away from the hotel was taking forever to come pick me up. So, one of the staff members took me as he was getting off of his shift. I was having trouble making one of those waffles and they assisted me with that everyone was GREAT!
