I have stayed at the Edge several times in the past few years since it became a waterpark. I am pleased with how they have evolved professionally and become an excellent resort with a lot of bang for your buck! I stayed in a family suite, having 2 queen beds and a bunkbed, as well as a seperate patio overlokking waterpark and direct access to the stairwell below. I highly reccomend one of these waterpark side rooms, you feel like you are right there-and the noise isn't at all bothersome. Clean, upgraded, well stocked and features Bath & Body products, we only paid $* for a night for 5 of us, and that included full use of the waterpark, 2 drink tokens for mom & dad and a decent contenintal breakfast. A couple years ago, we paid much more than that for a hotel up over the hill with a single waterslide, cold pool, and a tiny room with no breakfast. The views of Duluth and it's grand bridge from the Sunrise lounge are stellar. We were also within a few blocks of just about any kind of dining one could want. Towels are thick and soft, beds are comfy, everything is very, very nice! My husband's only complaint is the outdoor hot tub was not "open" (while it was obviously on and full) during a 6 degree day...I digress, I am thankful they have safety standards!!

My Family of six had a great time at the waterpark and the lifeguard staff were excellent. They opened the outside hot tub for my son and I, it was snowing, and inside they almost never blew their whistles. If you have ever been at the Waterworks in St Paul you know what I mean. I felt comfortable letting my eight and ten year olds swim on their own while I looked after the younger kids. The room was okay but showing its age and the breakfast was horrid. Ironically the pizza served poolside was good. We will be going back this summer.

Everyone had a blast, it was a wonderful, stress-free vacation! The kids are all begging to go back, it really was a great resort. The waterpark was open until 10pm so they swam for hours the first day and our check out wasn't until noon the next day so they have time for more swimming the next morning! They did not want to leave! Loved it! Oh they also had board games you could borrow! And all the staff were super nice and helpful and the rooms were very clean and there were plenty of lifeguards walking around. It was nice that our room was right next to the waterpark because we could go back and forth to our room with ease. We had the king and 2 bunk room and it was very clean.

it was a ton of fun! The rooms weren't the cleanest or most elegant, but the bath and body works soap was exciting, and the waterpark and swimming pool was great. Service was awesome. And of course the view was amazing!

My family and I stay at this hotel at least five times a year. My kids love the waterpark and available at the hotel. The hotel offers activities during the spring/summer/fall months outside. The hotel service is excellent. The rooms are clean and large enough for a hotel room. Excellent rates and they have perks for Canadians. Very helpful and friendly staff throughout the hotel. Both sections of the hotel are nice and clean. The hotel offers free shuttle service to the local attractions. You can also buy tickets for these attractions at the hotel for a cheaper rate than at the attraction( this was during 2009 summer season- not sure if it will be the same for further years) . My family along with many other families I know continue to stay at this hotel. I would recommend this to anyone. I have stayed at this hotel at least 15 times and have not had one bad experience with the service from the hotel or the staff.
