I don't usually every write reviews for hotels, but I felt compelled to do so with this stay. The check in process was good, the gentleman was very friendly and informative. There were 3 things that bothered me with this hotel stay experience. First, we had arrived about 1/2 hr prior to the manager's reception ending. We went down quick to grab a drink and snacks, to find that the place was a mess and there weren't any supplies left to grab a snack. I kind of felt bad for the staff, since this was a big kids weekend in town, with a ton of kids running wild, while their parents sat in the lobby drinking alcohol and watching football. But, it would have still been nice to have a few supplies to grab snacks. The 2nd problem was that the 24 hr fitness center was clearly marked as no one under 18 allowed on the equipment. When I wanted to go to use these items, there were at least 8 kids all under the age of 15 in the center with no parent supervision. I called the front desk to double check the rules regarding anyone under 18, they told me they would send security right away. Which they showed up promptly and addressed the issue. The last issue was that we were told on checkin that anyone under 16 had an 11pm curfew. At midnight I had finally had enough of the "neighbors" in/out of their room, slamming the door and making tons of noise, right after I had dosed off. I knocked on the wall then opened the door and told the kids (all under 8) to be quiet. I feel security could have addressed these problems better.

We enjoyed our stay at The Embassy Suites. The room was very spacious and clean. The two issues we had were with the bedroom TV not working and also the microwave didn't work. Some guests were quite loud at night, called the front desk and they tried to quiet things down and even called to ask if things were better. We were told that because we booked with a third party they couldn't help us with a rebate do to these issues. I was part of a Barbershop Convention that was hosted at another hotel in the area (it's the one with the French Name) and the accomodations and all around cleanliness was far superior at the Embassy. Well worth the extra money. Oh Yeah The Included Breakfast rivals many resturants.

Complimentary shuttle services within three mile radius was a wonderful amenity that we used several times during our stay. The customer service of every staff member we interacted with was truly exceptional, that alone will prompt us to stay there again. Highly recommend Embassy Suites and urge anyone staying there to contact the front desk or any staff person during your stay for questions or concerns. The riverfront view from the pool area was enjoyed by my husband and I several times as our son was enjoying the indoor pool. We all had a very enjoyable family weekend.
