The staff made my time at this property the most pleasurable stay I have experienced since going in and out of Charlotte. The breakfast was outstanding, the dining area was kept immaculate, and the chefs made each dining experience very personal. The omlets were superb. The waterfalls created an exotic feel and sheer relaxation was the hotel's goal. The only flaws that I experienced included the constant hum from the AC unit on the roof was annoying. This time I stayed on the 8th floor in room 836. Not a very insulated hotel from street noises either. Overall, a great facility, great staff, great food. Please try the fried chicken salad. They could also use a full gift shop.

My choice of The Embassy Suites on Tryon ST was excellent. The Desk service was extremely gracious, friendly, absolutely courteous, meeting my expectations plus more. The location was better than I had expected, and closer to Johnson C. Smith University than any that I could have chosen. I will check by phone tonight to see if I left a suit jacket that I left in the hotel room. Even if it is not there I will give the staff, the dining room service, and room service a 100% plus- rating. I plan to choose this hotel in the future. Melva W Costen, PhD

I was presently surprised with the whole hotel. The atrium and waterfall with all of the greenery in the lobby was simply beautiful.Room was immaculate, great bonus having the two flat screen t.v.'s in both rooms.. Wet bar, microwave and fridge a plus, marble counter tops and decor of room very modern. Bed was comfy, made to order breakfast was excellent! Staff was very friendly and courteous. I would definitely recommend to a friend or family, and would stay again if ever in Charlotte! Carowinds Amusement park was just minutes away which was great!! I wish I could have stayed longer.

My husband and I had an opportunity to stay at this hotel while on our honeymoon. The facilities were very nice, and the room was very clean. The only complaint was that there were children running up and down the hall continuously. When asked for a room change, the receptionist told us that we would have to downsize from a king to double bed. It is sad that we could not enjoy our trip because the noise issue was not addressed by staff.
