01/31/2011Good clean hotel. great breakfasts! needs a heated pool because when we were there, temperature was in the 60's. lots of good restaurants in walking distance.

We have stayed here multiple times. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the breakfast was far and away better than other hotel breakfasts. We live only an hour and a half away and we like to make day/weekend trips to Universal. When we stay over, this is our preferred hotel because we always feel like we stayed in a nice hotel for a good price.

Good included breakfast with many food options. Located close to convention center by shuttle bus. Very close to Universal Studio / Sea World/ City Walk and major high end chain (Ruths Cris/Mortons) restaurants and I-4. Shuttle and tickets to Universal parks with information available in lobby. No shuttle to Disney. Average bedroom with additional suite lounge area. Good Wi-Fi. Not flashy, but solid and reliable for convention choice or Universal visit.

Very nice hotel, friendly and happy people at the counter. Breakfast and happy hour was great. They should put more chairs in the area where indoor pool is. Fitness center was great. I will come back to this hotel for sure on my next stay. I can promise you that. Thanks Travel online for the great rates!!!

I usually enjoy staying with Embassy Suites. On average, they are very clean, hospitable, and enjoyable. This particular Embassy had a host of problems. The air conditioning didn't work as it should. (This is not a pleasant thing to experience in Florida.) The water heater went down for a few hours at peak "shower" time one morning. The air conditioner sounded like a DC-10 preparing for take off every couple of hours. The shower had mold and the room was very poorly cleaned and had a musty odor. I don't believe the floor had been vacuumed in quite some time. The indoor pool was freezing. On the other hand, the staff was friendly, polite and tried to fix the aforementioned problems but to little avail. I believe they were trying as best they could. The breakfast was good, as was the happy hour, but the layout is so terrible that the lines were very, very long. (An issue that we never have had at even busier Embassy Suites.) I have to admit that I was very shocked at the quality of this hotel and will never stay at this Embassy Suites again. This hotel is in dire need of rennovation and updates-choose another Embassy Suites in Orlando.
