Just spent 3 nights at the Hotel Bassano in Paris. It was very conveniently situated (about 5 easy blocks) to the Champs Elysee and Arc d'Triomphe and about a 10-15 minute walk to the Tracadero and fabulous view of the Eiffel. Very quiet, safe neighborhood. Our room was wonderfully comfortable (superior twin). Small as all Parisian boutique hotels usually are but also very clean and with many amenities not found in pricier hotels. Appreciated having a coffeemaker (electric water kettle) in our room. Staff was incredibly helpful and pleasant. I would recommend this hotel for business or personal travelers, and will definitely stay there again when in Paris.

I really felt that the staff went out of their way to serve us.
The location was outstanding. It was not on the main street which I liked due to a low street noise level. Their were many little restaurants and coffee shops nearby.
A convenient small market was just a half block away.
Walking distance to many attractions and subways.
All in all a nice experience.
A small kitchenette was usefull in the family suite i occupied.
An older hotel with a lot of charm.
