  Feb 2011: the location is excellent. There is free parking on a secure lot. This hotel is fresh, clean, and the room has a comfortable bed and a kitchionette. PERFECT for exploring Austin!! Again, the hotel looks fresh and clean, no problems at all. The staff is very nice. Would DEFINITELY stay here again!

• Nice Hotel! Bad parking!

  The hotel overall was nice and had a great location. Unfortunately the pillows though could have been fuller and the beds could have been more comfortable. The only real problem that i had with this hotel was that my friend came to visit me for around 15minutes and when she went to leave her car was gone. Her car had been towed across town and ruined the rest of my stay. Fortunately the hotel had print outs and directions to the impound lot. So if you have a guest visit you make sure they talk to the front desk clerk to get a permit or park on the street (if you can find parking on the street).

  If it wasn't so expensive, we would have moved to a different hotel. The things this one had going for it was: It was a good location.It was pretty clean.The desk attendant acted like he cared.Other than that, the bed was very hard, the kitchenette didn't have the right dishes. The air conditioner worked some of the time. The rooms were noisy. There was an additional cost to have your room made up. etc.

  You stay at this hotel for one reason, and one reason only..... its on 6th street. so if you want a fancy shmancy hotel, this is not for you. on ...

  You stay at this hotel for one reason, and one reason only..... Its on 6th Street. So if you want a fancy shmancy hotel, this is not for you. On the other hand if you want to crawl home from the bars, this place can't be beat!!!!!! All dining and Austin activities are walking distance away. Bare basics and clean. What more could you ask for????
