After looking at the pictures of this hotel i thought it would be pretty nice. i expected a lobby (which is pictured) and nothing like a motel. I was wrong. this is not the hotel in the pictures it is a completely different hotel welll not even a hotel a motel!!!! was very disappointed. I also looked at different hotel sites and there advertising it with the pictures also on this site. If i would have known it wasnt what was pictured i probley wouldnt have stayed here. The room was pretty clean though, location was alright, movies and a mall were very close.

Room I was given was already occupied. The other room they gave me was not what reservation was for. Even though it looked relatively clean, it smelled awful; it felt like there was film and germs everywhere. The bed was like a piece of plywood. I slept in socks, pants and a hoodie sweatshirt to minimize how much of my body actually touched the bed because everything just felt dirty and creepy. The night clerk was nice and apologetic, but the accommodations were deplorable. I could have written 2 pages of why you shouldn't stay here, but it just makes me feel like I need to take 20 more showers to get clean and sanitized. I had reservations for 2 nights and stayed only 1. I didn't want to stay the one night but I had been traveling for 7 hours, it was midnight when I checked in and I had to get up very early the next morning so I decided to try and stick it out for a couple hours. I might have slept better in the rental car, except for the parking lot seemed a little shady too.

Our first room had smoke smell to the pillows, but we had got in so late that we didn't change until the next day, and it's tv didn't give a picture. There was a tiny flea or roach in the bathroom, and the tub was too high, I nearly hurt myself climbing in. Finally on the third room they got it right, which did have a functiong picture tv and was non smoking. The second room was missing a tv all together. We had to ask at the lobby for shampoo and dish soap. There is no maid service without charge until 7 days, and before that you have to request i. the charge for room cleaning is $* and the dishes won't be washed. My comment it was a Motel 6 with a kitchette, working tv and phone, but no swimming pool. The staff had quarters for me to wash. If you don't use Tide, bring your own laundry soap, and ther is only Bounce drier sheets avalible for the drier, box of soap is $* each It's $* tofor the washer and $* for the drier a total of $* minimum, not counting soaps. At home in Northern Virginia, it is less total for wash and dry where we live in our complex. Chesapeake is normally cheaper. If you need a place to stay for a week in the winter, it isn't so bad. Summer there is no pool to swim in. They have some rooms that allow pets, but they cost more, which is usual. They have wi-fi for a fixed fee of $* which isn't so bad cost wise, as you use it for your stay, instead of by the hour. The bottom floor is smoke free and handicap friendly. I'd give it 2 1/2

Front desk was fine, check in no problem. Room was clean, a little worn around the edges. Air conditioner has 2 settings in reality (on/off) so the room was frigid by morning. Bag of hot dogs on the stair landing was a bit off-putting.

Checked in late, staff was nice & friendly but the room was unclean. The toilet still has waste & paper from previous tenents, sheets & comforter had hair from someone else on it, the AC was extremely Loud. Would not recommend at all
